There's some very good info here. The Security of SharePoint is always something to keep in mind as a developer. When the code is run under the administrator account, as it will be in a development environment, everything is fine, it's just when real users get involved that you really know if it works, so developers, think about what will happen if a user with Reader rights accesses it!
